Mid-Autumn Festival

Summer has finally left and we're now into autumn, there is no doubt about it when the trees outside my work place has already turned red, leaves are falling and the weather dropped to below 10 degree Celcius on day time.

Autumn never rally meant anything to me while I was in Malaysia because basically we have only one season - summer all year. The only thing special about 'autumn' back home is a traditional festive - Mid autum festival (or moon-cake festival). I remember the wide variety of mooncakes and their nice packagings. In Copenhagen, the only mooncake we have is imported from Germany, wonder why :s

Anyway, I have a very good moon-cake supplier back home who'd remind me when the festival approaches and buy moon cake for me so I can have it while being ten thousand miles away. This year, I chosen four moon cakes but due to some transportation problem, I ended up with only one of them, the 翡翠玉环 from 海外天.

Made some tea and shared the moon cake on this festive season. Though far from home but we're looking at the same moon, eating the same moon cake, that makes me feel much better :)
